Biography
I was born in Michigan but mostly grew up on the west coast in Washington State, in a small town known for strawberries, smoked salmon, and timber. I have two younger brothers and a younger sister. All still live on the west coast! When I was in high school, I enjoyed science and in college found that I could make a big difference in people's lives through chemistry. I tried industry work and research but found myself often working alone and wanting, instead, to work with lots of people doing something meaningful. So here I am-- working with lots of people everyday. I love it! And so far, I love being at George Mason!
